The Department of Human Services has several granting programs and funding opportunities annually through the Oakland Fund for Children and Youth, the Senior Services Set-Aside Fund, and through our Community Housing Services Division. Listed below and to your right are current opportunities.

Senior Services Set Aside Fund
 

The 2008-2009 Request for Proposal available NOW!

On March 19 at 10 am a Bidder's Conference for the 2008-09 Senior Services Set-Aside grant applicants will be held in Hearing Room 1.  Representatives from the City Attorney, Contract Compliance and Risk Management offices will be available to answer questions about the grant application.  All applicants are urged to attend the Bidders' Conference.   If you need assistance, please call Myisha Steward at 510.238.2377.

NOTE: Set-Aside Grantees do not have to comply with the City of Oakland Living Wage Requirements unless they receive a cumulative total of more than $100,000 per year in City grants, donations or financial assistance.

 
Oakland Fund for Children and Youth (OFCY)
 
The 2006-2007 OFCY Request for Proposal will be released on November 17, 2005.
 
Oakland Community Action Partnership (OCAP) 2008-2009 RFP
