This Center emphasizes exercise, nutrition, crafts and computer instruction. Information and Referral services for seniors, and the City of Oakland Law Corps, are also available at the Center. Special events are scheduled to celebrate holidays such as Juneteenth and Earth Day. Line dancing is a popular class, and the Center’s choral group performs at venues throughout the area. Lunch is served Monday through Friday at noon – reservations must be made one day in advance. The facility is available for rentals. The Center Advisory Council meets on the first Friday of every month at 10:30 a.m. and includes a public forum.
